It's my pleasure to be your new Dakota Division Director. As you may know, Greg Widin, KØGW, was elected to be the ARRL's 1st Vice President. Please congratulate Greg on his new position and thank him for the outstanding work he did as our Director. Here is a link if you missed the news: ARRL Article
I know a lot of you having served as the ND Section manager and most recently as the Division's Vice Director. Having said that, there are a lot of you I don't know and look forward to meeting you soon. My goals for the Division is the same as the ARRL's Mission Statement - To advance the art, science, and enjoyment of Amateur Radio. Each of us enjoys this great hobby and we each have the ability to advance it through different means. Whether you're a DXer, contester, VE, instructor, Field Day aficionado, moombouncer, or just plain rag chewer, there's always something to do and to give back to our hobby. So get on the air, promote amateur radio, get someone licensed and continue what Hiram Percy Maxim envisioned.
I'm always open for suggestions, inputs, constructive criticisms, etc. See you at an upcoming hamfest or on the air.
