Dakota Division
As you may have seen, a Senate companion bill to the House version of the Amateur Radio Parity Act of 2015 was introduced on Friday, June 26. That means that we can begin writing to our Senators to ask for their support of the bill. The House version already has 83 co-sponsors (as of 6/29), and we aim to get many co-sponsors from the Senate version.
There is information on both bills at:
http://www.arrl.org/amateur-radio-parity-act
At this point, the most powerful thing you can do is to write to your Senators asking for their support. The web page above has a suggested form letter. Please send your letters to ARRL Headquarters, as instructed on the web page, so that they will be hand delivered on Capitol Hill. Direct letters make a big impression on our representatives, and hand delivery gives us one more chance to talk with Senate staff.
Please join in sending your letters for your Senators to ARRL. Both House and Senate bills have a lot of momentum right now. Please add your voice to keep the momentum growing.
